Mena Alexa Suvari was born on the 29th of September, 1979. She is a famous American fashion designer, model and actress. After launching her acting career Mena Alexandra Svari was a regular as a guest on 1990s TV series Boy Meets World and High Incident. The first time she appeared in film was her performance in 1997's drama Nowhere. Her transition into major roles with her performances on American Beauty for which she received nominations for the BAFTA Award and American Pie and American Pie, both of which gained the attention of the world. She's appeared alongside American Pie's Co-Star Jason Biggs in Loser (2000) before starring as the role of lead on the screen in Sugar & Spice (2001). She had appearances in the independent 2002 drama Spun and the 2004 thriller film Trauma. She appeared in HBO's dramatic series Six Feet Under. In 2004 she was nominated as an Outstanding Cast member at the Screen Actors Guild Awards. In 2008, Suvari was a part in a string of films which included Day of the Dead The Mysteries of Pittsburgh as well as the film adaptation of The Garden of Eden. Suvari models on behalf of Lancome Paris Adaptive, and she's been on a number of fashion blogs and magazines like Vogue. She has long been an activist and supporter to the African Medical and Research Foundation.
