Dawson (born May 9, 1979)[3] is an American actress and producer. She made her
feature film debut in the 1995 film, an independent drama Kids. Her roles in
the following films include He Got Game (1998) and Josie and the Pussycats
(2002). Dawson has voiced for Warner Bros./DC Comics, Disney/Marvel and
ViacomCBS Nickelodeon. The actress has also been nominated for the Critics
Choice Movie Award for Best actress in a Comedy for Top Five (2014), Trance
(2013), Top Five (2014) Zombieland Double Tap (2019). Dawson was born in New
York City on May 9th 1979. Her mother, Isabel Celeste, is of Afro-Cuban and
Puerto Rican ancestry. Rosario was 16 years old at Rosario's birth. Isabel
never married Patrick C. Harris as her father in law. Rosario's mother, Greg
Dawson, was a construction worker when she was just one year old. From this
marriage, Dawson has a half-brother, Clay, who is four years her junior. Dawson
is also known for her role in comic book adaptations. This includes Gail Sin
City (2005), Sin City (2005), Sin City: A Dame to Kill For (2014), Claire
Temple (2015-2018) and Diana Prince/Wonder woman on the DC Animated Movie
Universe. She also plays Barbara Gordon/Batgirl on The Lego Batman Movie. The actress
was Ahsoka Tano's character in the Mandalorian's second series in 2020. Also,
she will be the star of the Disney+ original series Ahsoka. In 2021, she will
reprise her role on Young Rock, a Dwayne Johnson autobiographical comedy.
