Elizabeth Leigh Vassey
Elizabeth Leigh Vassey (born August 9, 1972) is an American actress. Her credits include Emily Ann Sago in the television series All My Children, Captain Liberty in the 2001 TV series The Tick, Wendy Simms in the television show CSI: Crime Scene Investigation as well as Nikki Beaumont in the web series Nikki & Nora. Vassey played teenager Emily Ann Sago on the soap drama All My Children from 1988 until 1991. From 2004 until 2005, she played a recurring role on the show Tru Calling as Dr. Carrie Allen.She appeared in a number of episodes on the sitcom Two and a Half Men. The episode "The One Thing You Don't Want is to Get a Hump" in 2003, she appeared in "Twanging Your Magic Clanger" and "The Crazy Bitch Gazette" (2011), and in "Nice to Meet You, Walden Schmidt" (the season premiere starring Ashton Kutcher).From 2005 to in 2010, Vassey was in a role that she reprised in the role of Wendy Simms on CSI: Crime Scene Investigation. Vassey was first seen in the opening credits for the show's Crime Scene Investigation as an in-character cast member and was promoted to a permanent character in the tenth series. Entertainment Weekly reported June 1 the 1st of June, 2010 that Vassey would not return for the 11th season of the show. Vassey was in an episode in the season. Vassey, who is married to David Emmerichs (a camera operator) she founded Neurosis to a T(ee) which is a business that creates and sells T-shirts with female-specific slogans. The slogans are humorous and poke fun at women's anxieties and fears and often relate to relationships.
